As part of the Večernji list project, Rezolucija Zemlja, the largest environmental project in Croatia, dedicated to the planet Earth, environmental protection and sustainable development of our society, began on February 10, 2022. Representatives of Večernji list and eight partners signed a document at the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts aimed at “making targeted and coordinated efforts to protect nature and build a society that takes smart care of the environment and its future.”.
“Rezolucija Zemlja is important for the future of our children and future generations. Given that the auto industry is one of major world polluters, it’s the responsibility of all of us who work in it to contribute to solving this problem. We at Zubak Grupa have committed ourselves with Rezolucija Zemlja to further electrify our car fleet. Currently, we use about thirty electric and hybrid models in our own car fleet, with a plan to continue to increase their share in the total fleet over time. We are also committed to encouraging the purchase of electric vehicles in Croatia. We will provide more favorable conditions for these vehicles, and will continue to invest in electric car chargers, for which we have invested around 2,000,000 kuna so far, this being just the beginning.” – said Žaklina Trbović, member of the Management Board of Zubak Grupa..
By signing the document, Zubak Grupa additionally committed itself to actively encouraging sustainable mobility among customers and employees and creating various offers to facilitate the purchase of electric vehicles and thus reduce CO2 emissions; electrification of Zubak Grupa’s fleet by investing in the replacement of test, replacement and official vehicles with hybrids and fully electric cars; conscientious ecological disposal of waste oils, solvents and chemicals with the help of modern and safe methods at all Zubak Grupa service locations; investing in a network of electric charging stations that ensure the availability of sustainable energy sources by contributing to a positive impact on the environment.
Using the slogan ” Sweep in Front of Your Own Door “, Rezolucija Zemlja was signed by Ivan Vlaho, President of the Management Board of Zagrebačka banka; Siniša Kukić, Director of the Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency; Mayor of Koprivnica Mišel Jakšić; Žaklina Trbović, Member of the Management Board of Zubak Grupa; Marijana Bačić, Vice President for Corporate Sales and ICT Services at Hrvatski Telekom; Julije Domac from REGE, also a special adviser to the President of the Republic for energy and climate; Darko Pappo from DIV Grupa; director of Večernji list Renato Ivanuš and editor-in-chief Dražen Klarić.
